Self-Pollinating

A favorite late-blooming apricot of growers in the Pacific Northwest!

This Apricot can grow where others can’t! Like the famed Moorpark Apricot, Wenatchee Moorpark is prized for its ability to thrive in cool climates that have very wet springs. introduced in 1908 by C&O Nursery, it’s a long-time favorite in Western Oregon and Washington. Wenatchee is a heavy bearer of large, oval, freestone fruit with yellow-orange skin and flesh.

This apricot tree is known as a reliable and prolific producer. Expect a generous crop of fresh, juicy apricots every year, ripening from July to late August. The Wenatchee Moorpark Apricot is self-pollinating and makes a great pollinator for late-blooming apricots.

1 review for Wenatchee Moorpark Apricot Tree

  1. Andrea Wallace

I was a little concerned about this tree when it first arrived because it definitely seemed slower to come out of dormancy than the other trees in my order but apparently it just needed a minute. It has grown several inches and leafed up beautifully. I am excited to see it fruit! I would buy again.
