Stake young trees for survival!

Until a young tree’s root system is firmly established in its new location, it could be easily uprooted by wind and storms. We strongly encourage staking new trees (dwarf varieties, too) to protect them. Our efficient strap-and-stake design conveniently keeps your tree stable while allowing just enough movement as the tree grows. Save time by staking the tree at the same time you plant it.

Each Tree Stake includes one sturdy fiberglass rod and one 2 cm (3/4″) wide x 26.7 cm (10 1/2″) long flexible strap.

  • Stake for young trees: 122 cm (48″) tall x 1.6 cm (5/8″) around

I am pleases. At the sturdiness of the stakes I have used them well…

We get a tremendous amount of wind where we live. We wanted a tree stake that was durable and could withstand the wind. The fiberglass tree stake was our choice after much research. It was very easy to install and will give our new apple tree the support it needs. We would certainly recommend this product to anyone in need of a good tree stake.

Does not stick out in the yard so mowing is easy. Worth the price.

  4. JEANNIE SIEGLING

I like this tree stake a lot. It was very easy to install and I like the adjustable, flat, rubbery strap that attaches to the tree. It keeps the tree straight without scraping or hurting the trunk and the strap is easy to undo and move as the tree grows.

When ordering a dwarf fruit one has to bare in mind that the length of the tree stake far exceeds the height of the dwarf tree. That being the case I can not, at this time take advantage of the rubber stirrup at the top of the tree stake. I had to install my own stirrup approximately twelve or fourteen inches below the height of the tree stake I ordered in order to utilize the tree stale I ordered. As the tree grows, perhaps in another year or two I will probably be able to get full utilization of the tree stake I ordered. Another lower stirrup would have been more useful.

So far so good lasted 2 years know. Great quality and not hard to use.

  7. RAY HARNES

The tree never grew, never even sprouted a leaf or showed up to be anything more than a stick. After following the instructions ….. nada. I would say I don’t feel very good about this purchse.

Theses are great-very sturdy and easy to use. I’ve mostly used them to straighten my trees up a bit and to help with stability in the high winds in the spring and fall. Highly recommend.

The first time I needed a tree stake, I came up with the idea of essentially building my own. It was very time-consuming and annoying. Then I determined that I should go ahead and buy Stark Bro’s tree stake. No hassles and so very simple! (Also, superior to my homemade contraption.) Even if you live somewhere that’s fairly sheltered from strong wind as I do, each year there’s usually some big gusts and you’ll want a stake. I am extremely pleased with the functionality and ease of this product.

After trying several other types of staking apparatus, I discovered this one. It worked so well on my dwarf cherry that I bought another for my dwarf apple. They won’t be sturdy enough for a large tree.
