Protect the tender bark of young trees.

Protect your investment from gnawing animals, sun scald and more. Our lightweight perforated plastic spirals are easy to install and last for many years. Put them on right after you plant, which is when your new tree is most vulnerable. Occasionally adjust the spiral and let it “grow” with your tree, and remove any grass that may have grown up inside it. Also take care to keep lawn equipment from hitting the guards, which can girdle the tree, a major cause of mortality. Use Stark Tree Guards along with our Tree Circles to provide protection for both the trunk and roots.

Ships in packs of 3.

Options:

  • Choose the 25 cm (10″) guard for columnar trees
  • Choose the 50 cm (20″) guard for young trees
  • Choose the 101 cm (40″) guard for larger trees

  1. Jeffrey DeYoung

I am not a fan of this type of tree card, we have found that they need to be changed quite quickly.

  2. Kenneth Smith

I would certainly suggest putting these on any of your young trees to discourage critters from chewing the bark off of them.

  3. Laurie Cox

These tree wraps are easy to put on, easy to adjust, and just as easy to remove. All the young trees in my yard need protection from the deer. The only problem is I didn’t order enough.

  4. Kathy Richardson

Whenever I plant a new tree I always use the tree guards. We have trouble with rabbits chewing on trunks so this prevents this problem.

  5. Frank Gingrasso

I was having trouble with the rabbits damaging the bark. I put the tree guards on the tree and it solved the problem.

If you are looking for trees this is the place to get them!I have purchased trees from them for the past 15 years.Every time I get a tree from it’s the right tree and it is in great condition.Your best bet if you want very good trees.

Last year I bought 2 cherry trees on sale. Price was good when they came in I could see they were not to healthy. They did not survive. When I called stark bros they said they would replace them this spring they were very nice about it. I did receive 1 cherry tree this spring not the 2 promised. So far it is still alive. My advice do not buy cherry trees on sale.

  8. JAMES PACK

I have had rabbit problems in the past, and used chicken fences for protection, but chose to use the guard to protect my pear trees. Worked great-no rabbit damage!

  9. Judy Coe

We were satisfied with the tree wraps. Our cats were scratching on the tree trunk and this put a stop to it.

  10. Greg Ellis
