How do I find my Hardiness Zone?
Canada’s Plant Hardiness Zones will tell you which plants will do well in your particular climate. Each zone is determined by the lowest average winter temperature recorded in a given area. Hardiness Zone information is included on all tree and plant product pages, so you know instantly whether a certain plant is likely to succeed where you live. Natural Resources Canada provides helpful options to find your zone:

Sorry to say this one did not survive the winter………..
Betty Scherber –
Got this last year. Went in and established fine. But died over the winter.
Thomas Caldwell –
The product arrived in good shape, unfortunately after planting most of the tree appears dead & leaves have emerged at the bottom or base of the plant, disappointing given it was 3 ft. Tall.Leaves at bottom of plant but no other leaves for the entire length of this new tree.

Unfortunately the Reliance Peach I bought from Stark Bros. in spring of 2018 has shown no signs of life this spring, 2019. When it arrived it looked pretty much as I expected, bare root but in good shape and pre-pruned ready to plant. It grew well last year, filled out in full leaves but no further branching occurred. This spring there are no leaf buds, no shoots, no signs of life at all. What a disappointment! All of the other fruit trees I’ve bought from Stark Bros have grown so well, but this peach tree sure didn’t.IBased on my experience I would not advise others to buy this peach tree.Rose in WI.

The tree arrived wilted and looked like it was going to come back. It instead died back to the root stock and has sprouted multiple branches or starts from the root stock.

I purchased this Peach Tree last spring. It really took off and had a few blooms this spring even though it is it’s first year. There are two peaches growing and we are anxious to try them.

Purchased your reliance peach last year. She has grown beautifully & robustly. . Handled the winter w/o difficulty. Since she is only a year in my yard, I will not let any fruit develop this summer . If asked to submit next year in regards to fruit, I will be happy to evaluate once again. TY

I ordered a bare root reliance peach and a sun glo nectarine last year. Both of them died. Digging them out we saw that neither tree had put out any additional roots beyond the pruned roots they came with. Very disappointed, will not be buying any more bare root stock.
Jenny Streeter –
I bought this tree along with a pear and 2 apple trees and this was the only one that did not survive. I didn’t do anything different with planting the peach and it didn’t survive.

the tree looks great this spring… lots of leafs and even peach blossoms turning in to peaches … did not expect this soon… very happy so far
