Self-Pollinating

Perfect for containers and small spaces.

Eversweet® is an everbearing plant, meaning the crop will continue fruiting into fall instead of just producing one summer harvest. The berries are cone-shaped and quite sweet, plus you’ll have fruit the very first year you plant them! Produces even in temperatures over 26ºC (80ºF). Self-pollinating.

Size & Spacing

Mature Size

When your plant matures, it will be approximately 30 cm tall x 30 cm wide (12” tall x 12” wide).

Recommended Spacing

We recommend spacing these plants 30 cm (12”) apart to ensure room for growth.

Ship Height

Bare-root 25 Pack.

Pollination

This variety is self pollinating.

In many cases, you may still want to plant pollinating partners to increase the size of your crops, but with self-pollinating varieties doing so is optional. You’ll get fruit with only one plant!

How do I find my Hardiness Zone?

Canada’s Plant Hardiness Zones will tell you which plants will do well in your particular climate. Each zone is determined by the lowest average winter temperature recorded in a given area. Hardiness Zone information is included on all tree and plant product pages, so you know instantly whether a certain plant is likely to succeed where you live. Natural Resources Canada provides helpful options to find your zone:

  1. Edward Golightly

Planted these in spring 2017 and had beautiful berries the first season. The plants entered we’ll, didn’t lose any and now blooms are coming. Had good service from Stark and the plants are excellent quality.

  2. Audrey Price

What a surprise these strawberry plants are evergreen in our mild Georgia winters. We had strawberries in April.

  3. Patti Pennington

I love the eversweet berry… however I lost half of them over winter:( Best strawberry I’ve found yet!

  4. Allan Waller

I could not believe how fast these things grew and filled in. We had more berries in our first season than we could keep up with!

After my account was locked because I couldn’t remember my password, my call to the business was met with courtesy and professionalism. My order was prompt and shipped and arrived well on time with good packing. The berries were nicely wrapped and easy enough to separate and plant. All 25 I ordered were in excellent condition, were planted last week, and all took well

  6. ROBERT FLASS

This varity is eaxactly what I wanted: easy to grow, no waiting ( produce at same year of pkanting), big and tasty berries

  8. SANDRA HORTON

I bought Stark Bros Eversweet Strawberry plants spring of 2017. I enjoyed delicious strawberries till frost. This year the plants are back–many new plants, too!–and are already berrying with delicious fruit. I highly recommend your getting them if you are interested in having berries throughout the season.

  9. BILL KRIEGER

Planted 300 plants last spring. Pinched the first blossoms (which was hard to do) and paid off with a strong crop in the later summer and fall. Out of the 300 plants only about 6 didn’t take. I did plant under plastic mulch which I’m sure helped. Have an incredible amount of blossoms so far this spring and expecting great results. Very pleased with the taste of these berries. The grandkids love them.

  10. Harvey Harvey

Got these for a friend and they went nuts. Lots and lots of berries. She is tickled pink with the fantastic production and minimum of care
