A very popular strawberry with excellent flavor. This superior variety will supply you with quarts of large, deep-red strawberries for pies, shortcake and your favorite preserves. Earliglow is the berry frequently planted by “u-pick” farms because of their pleasing shape, beautiful ruby-like color and of course, terrific taste. The plant are robust, fast growers and send out many runners that keep your crop going, year after year. Resistant to verticillium wilt and red stele root-rot. Cold-hardy. Ripens in June. So happy with the fast shipping and nice looking plants. Planted early June and watered heavily and so far growing nicely in Michigan. Thank you!

  2. Marianne Leclerc

None of the received plants survived; not sure who not as we followed planting instructions

  3. Dieter Vandervan

This is our first year growing these – went the tower route as I have plenty of rabbits and chipmunks about – and Stark Bros did not disappoint – beautiful, abundant strawberries that taste sweet! Highly recommend – Thank you Stark Bros!

I have had these berries for 3 seasons in Zone 6b and they are without fail amazing. We grow with organic methods and it seems we barely have to pay any attention to these berries for them to thrive. The berries are huge, unblemished, resilient to wet weather, prolific, and delicious. They consistently begin ripening around May 15, weeks before other varieties. We love them and will never stop growing them!!!

Planted them last fall. Good crop this June. Neighbors love them. Growing plenty of runners. I only allow two runners to survive. Plants look very healthy. This is my 2nd go round with Earliglow. 1st one was outstanding. Continue the good work Starks.

I ordered 20 strawberry plants, after planting in potting soil. All plants died ??

I made 3 new beds this yr. I planted a different type of strawberry from a different company in one bed and I planted these in the other 2 beds. Every single root from the other company turned into a plant. Not 1 single root from this company turned grew. I know they give a i yr warranty. Unfortunately that doesn’t really help me because strawberry’s need a yr before you can pick them. That puts me an entire year out now. My suggestion is to find a different company to order your plants from.

  8. Grady Thomas

Extremely disappointed with these plants. When I received them, they were in really poor condition with wilted/black leaves and few, if any, viable roots. I should have returned them but planted them hoping they would be okay. Hardly any of them survived.

  9. Gary Butterfield

Strawberries did real good. Was very sweet I am planning on ordering more

  10. Joseph Appolonia

Great strawberry – These plants increased by 300% by properly propagating runners!!! Trimming a mist but best tasting berries in great numbers!
